Fuel retailers raise gasoline, diesel, kerosene prices Tuesday

Starting Tuesday, motorists will face higher prices for petroleum products due to another round of pump price increases announced by fuel retailers.

Chevron Philippines Inc., Seaoil Philippines Corp., and Shell Pilipinas Corp. plan to raise gasoline prices by P0.70 per liter, diesel by P0.50, and kerosene by P0.30.

Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz will also implement similar price hikes for gasoline and diesel but do not sell kerosene.

The adjustments take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, except for Cleanfuel which will adjust prices at 4:01 p.m. the same day.

The Department of Energy - Oil Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMB) had earlier projected these price hikes due to recent trends in the international oil market and the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS).

Last week, firms increased gasoline prices by P0.60 per liter, diesel by P0.80, and kerosene by P0.90.

As of August 12, 2025, year-to-date adjustments have resulted in a net increase of P10.80 per liter for gasoline, P12.75 per liter for diesel, and P2.65 per liter for kerosene.
