Fuel prices rise PHP0.55 per liter

Fuel prices in the Philippines increased by PHP0.55 per liter for both gasoline and diesel on Tuesday, December 21st.

Kerosene prices also rose by PHP0.70 per liter, except in areas affected by Typhoon Odette where price hikes were suspended for two weeks.

Oil companies such as Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, Shell, and others announced the price increases following global oil market trends.

The Department of Energy (DOE) instructed that household liquefied petroleum gas and kerosene prices in calamity-declared areas should remain unchanged for 15 days.

Seaoil offered a discount promo from December 20 to 31, providing PHP4 per liter discount on gasoline and PHP2 per liter on diesel.
