Fuel prices drop: Gas down P0.10/L, kerosene P0.50/L; diesel unchanged

Fuel prices are expected to decrease this week following two consecutive weeks of increases, with gasoline and kerosene seeing reductions while diesel remains unchanged.

As of April 8, gasoline may see a P0.10/L reduction while kerosene could drop by P0.50 per liter; diesel is projected to remain unchanged.

Leading oil companies such as Seaoil Philippines Corp., Shell Pilipinas Corp., and Cleanfuel have announced these price adjustments which will take effect on Tuesday, April 8.

The Department of Energy - Oil Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMB) had previously forecast potential increases but revised projections due to US tariffs affecting global trade and crude demand.

Oil prices dipped slightly amid concerns over a possible global trade war, leading to the adjustments announced by major oil firms.
