Parks Jr.'s seven points, seven rebounds boost Osaka to third

Former Gilas Pilipinas standout Parks Jr. scored seven points with seven rebounds, four assists, a steal, and a block as Osaka defeated Kyoto Hannaryz, 95-94, on Sunday.

Osaka improved to a record of 25-24 and moved up to third place in the Western Division following their victory.

Dwight Ramos had an impressive performance with 18 points, nine rebounds, a steal, and a block but Levanga Hokkaido lost to Ryukyu Golden Kings, 72-64, dropping them to fifth in the Eastern Division.

Matthew Wright contributed 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists for Kawasaki Brave Thunders, who were defeated by Fighting Eagles Nagoya, 82-73, falling to eighth place with a record of 14-35.

AJ Edu recorded seven points, 12 rebounds, five steals, and two blocks but Nagasaki Velca lost to San-en NeoPhoenix, 79-76, dropping them to sixth in the Western Division.

Roosevelt Adams had five points, three rebounds, and a steal as Yamagata Wyverns moved past Kobe Storks, 82-73, for a bounce-back victory, moving up to fifth place with a record of 21-35.

Geo Chiu had two rebounds but Ehime Orange Vikings lost to Veltez Shizuoka, 82-58, extending their record to 51 losses in 55 games and placing them seventh in the Western Division.
