Former 4Ps beneficiary tops electronics exam with 95%

Jayvee Fuentebella, a former beneficiary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development's Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), achieved the highest score in the 2025 Electronics Technician Licensure Examination with a 95 percent score.

Fuentebella, originally from Bacolod City, tied for first place among five examinees out of 2,411 test takers.

DSWD spokesperson Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao congratulated Fuentebella on Monday, April 14, praising his achievement as a testament to the positive impact of social development initiatives.

Dumlao highlighted that Fuentebella's success and his family's improved well-being demonstrate the long-term benefits of investing in human capital through education and support services.

Fuentebella earned his Electronics Engineering degree from the Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas and received a scholarship under Republic Act 7687, which supports financially challenged but academically gifted students.
