148 flights canceled at MIA due to Typhoon Carina, southwest monsoon

Due to severe weather conditions caused by Typhoon Carina and the southwest monsoon, 148 flights at Manila International Airport were canceled on Thursday.

The affected airlines include Cebu Pacific (CEB), Philippine Airlines (PAL), PAL Express, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, EVA Air, China Airlines, and XiamenAir.

Specific cancellations involve CEB's Quanzhou-Manila flights and PR's Manila-Tuguegarao routes.

Some originally canceled flights have been rescheduled to proceed as normal after initial advisories from the airport authorities.
