Filipina golfer Uy ties for 15th, Wongras wins Pattaya Ladies Open

Filipina golfer Daniella Uy slipped to a final-round score of 73, finishing tied for 15th in the Pattaya Ladies Open on Friday.

Uy's second-round performance had put her just four shots behind leader Chakansim Khamborn, but she struggled early and finished with a total score of six-under 210.

Leading the tournament was Choicheva Wongras, who staged an impressive rally from a share of 16th place to secure victory with a final-round 10-under 62, finishing at 14-under 202.

Wongras's strong back nine performance included four consecutive birdies and three straight birdies for her closing score, while Nemittra Juntanaket finished second at 204.

Daniella Uy now shifts her focus to the WPG Ladies Open of the Taiwan LPGA Tour scheduled for May 7-10.
