FEU defeats Ateneo 3-1 in V-League, Bituin leads with 14 points

Far Eastern University (FEU) bounced back from their previous loss to secure a hard-fought victory over Ateneo de Manila University in the V-League Collegiate Challenge on Tuesday.

The Tamaraws won the match 25-20, 22-25, 25-19, 25-22 at the Paco Arena Events and Sports Center in Manila.

Leading scorers Amet Bituin, Dryx Saavedra, and Mikko Espartero contributed significantly to FEU's triumph with Bituin scoring 14 points, while Saavedra and Espartero each added 12 points.

Despite a strong performance by Ateneo, the Tamaraws regained control in the fourth set through decisive plays from their veteran trio.

FEU head coach Eddieson Orcullo emphasized the importance of focusing on recovery after returning from Japan, highlighting that this match was an opportunity to apply lessons learned during training.
