FEU coach Salak urges rookie Loresco to seize Alas Pilipinas tryout

FEU Lady Tamaraws head coach Tina Salak urged rookie middle blocker Clarisse Loresco to seize an Alas Pilipinas tryout invite, emphasizing the importance of serving one's country.

Salak, a former Philippine Army Lady Troopers player and SEA Games bronze medalist, advised Loresco to take advantage of the opportunity as not every athlete receives such an invitation.

The 48-year-old coach stressed that participating in national team endeavors is crucial for personal growth and future contributions within school teams.

Loresco was one of 33 women invited by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) and Alas Women coach Jorge Souza de Brito to participate in tryouts, with Loresco expressing her readiness to take on the challenge.

Although Loresco's inclusion on the final team is unlikely due to her current UAAP commitments, she remains open to potential opportunities with the national team.
