Ferrer wins Finals MVP after overcoming ACL injury

Tantoy Ferrer of University of Santo Tomas won the Finals MVP award after leading her team to victory in the UAAP women's basketball championship on Wednesday.

Ferrer, who suffered an ACL injury a year ago, averaged 15.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists during the series.

Her determination and hard work helped UST overcome a nine-point deficit to clinch their first title since 2006.
