FDA waiting for Pfizer's EUA bid for 5-11 year olds

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is waiting for Pfizer to submit an emergency use authorization (EUA) application for children aged 5 to 11.

According to Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire, no manufacturer has yet applied for EUA approval in the Philippines for this age group.

Vergeire noted that once a vaccine receives EUA from the US FDA, manufacturers typically submit applications to other countries soon after.
