Ex-Comelec chief Larrazabal files for Leyte congressional post

Former Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Gregorio Larrazabal filed his certificate of candidacy on Monday, October 4, to run for a congressional post in Leyte's 4th district.

Larrazabal, accompanied by relatives and supporters, submitted three certificates of nomination under different political parties at the Comelec provincial office.

He expressed his intention to amend the Omnibus Election Code and address both local and national issues as a representative.

Larrazabal emphasized his commitment to public service, attributing it to his parents who were former elective officials in Leyte.
