Heart Evangelista anxious about new SSFI role

Heart Evangelista, wife of newly elected Senate President Francis Escudero, is experiencing anxiety over her new role as head of the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc.

During a conversation with her husband on Wednesday night, Evangelista 'panicked' and expressed nervousness about taking on this responsibility.

Escudero advised his wife to take it one step at a time and not feel pressured, emphasizing that she should start small and gradually build up her responsibilities.

The spouses of the senators agreed during a dinner in Malacañang last Tuesday to meet next week and discuss their plans for the foundation's activities, which typically occur once every quarter around Christmas season.

Evangelista will replace Audrey Tan-Zubiri as head of SSFI and is willing to take on her new role but needs time to become fully ready for the responsibilities.
