Erram retires as Gilas boasts strong lineup for World Cup

Poy Erram announced his retirement from the national team on Sunday as Gilas Pilipinas prepares for the Fiba World Cup.

Despite Erram's departure, the squad boasts a strong lineup including veterans Japeth Aguilar and June Mar Fajardo, along with rising stars AJ Edu and Kai Sotto.

AJ Edu expressed excitement about the opportunity to compete in the World Cup, calling it a dream come true and noting that playing for Gilas has allowed him more freedom to showcase his skills.
