BARMM condemns corruption allegations against Lagdameo

BARMM officials have strongly condemned allegations of corruption against Special Assistant to the President Antonio Ernesto Lagdameo Jr., made by former TESDA Secretary Suharto 'Teng' Mangudadatu.

Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim stated that these claims are baseless and malicious, and the Bangsamoro government is considering legal action against those spreading false information.

Maguindanao del Norte OIC Governor Abdulraof Macacua defended Lagdameo, saying there was no coercion of local officials to change political alliances.

Ebrahim clarified that the United Bangsamoro Justice Party had already aligned with the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas before Lagdameo's involvement and emphasized that Lagdameo plays a crucial role in navigating issues within BARMM.

The chief minister urged the public to focus on peaceful and credible parliamentary elections rather than engaging in personal attacks and false accusations, while also stressing the importance of moral governance and transparency.
