Eastern beats San Miguel Beer in OT, 99-91

Eastern defeated San Miguel Beer in overtime with a final score of 99-91 on Sunday evening at the PhilSports Arena.

Glen Yang was Eastern's standout player, scoring 26 points and hitting the game-winning three-pointer in OT, while Chris McLaughlin added 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 steals for the team.

San Miguel Beer struggled to defend against Hong Kong Eastern after a tiring travel schedule, leading Yang to credit preparation as a key factor in their victory.

Eastern led by as much as 12 points early on but San Miguel rallied to tie the game late, forcing an extra period where Eastern outscored them 12-7.

This win marks Eastern's second consecutive triumph over San Miguel Beer this week after also defeating them in the East Asia Super League with a score of 71-62.
