Duterte's 'Talk to the People' delayed to Wednesday

President Rodrigo Duterte’s regular public address, originally scheduled for Monday May 24, was postponed to Tuesday May 25, but has been further delayed until Wednesday due to his engagement in a Regional Peace Council meeting in Dumaguete City.

On Monday, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque announced the initial postponement from Monday to Tuesday because Duterte would be attending the peace council meeting.

Roque explained on Tuesday that the President and his delegation returned to Manila late at night after the meeting, leading to another delay until Wednesday.
