Duterte urges schools, DepEd to allow installment tuition fees

President Rodrigo Duterte has appealed to schools to offer installment payment options for tuition fees due to financial difficulties caused by the community quarantine.

He also directed the Land Bank of the Philippines to provide loans to students who cannot afford their tuition payments.

Duterte emphasized the importance of education and urged DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones to implement staggered payment plans.
