Duterte visits Marcos, discusses China meeting

Former president Rodrigo Duterte visited President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at Malacañang on August 2 to discuss his recent meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Duterte also gave Marcos 'good pieces of advice' but no further details were provided by the Presidential Communications Office.

The visit comes weeks after Duterte met with Xi in China, where Xi expressed hope that Duterte would continue to play a role in friendly cooperation between Manila and Beijing.
