Duterte jokes about 'drowsy' teleprompter operator

During his sixth and final State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 26, President Rodrigo Duterte joked about a 'drowsy' teleprompter operator.

Duterte struggled to read from the teleprompter while ad-libbing during his speech.

He attributed the difficulty to either himself talking too fast or slow, or the operator being drowsy due to his numerous ad-libs.

Despite the issue, Duterte praised the teleprompter operators who worked with him during rehearsals.
