Duterte files COC for Senate; Sara for VP

President Rodrigo Duterte and his daughter Sara Duterte are among 10 aspirants who filed certificates of candidacy (COC) as substitutes for national positions in the May 2022 polls.

Duterte is running as a substitute senator under Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan (PDDS), replacing Mona Lisa Visorde.

Sara Duterte withdrew her COC for re-election as Davao City mayor and filed another COC to run for vice president, replacing Lyle Uy under the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD).
