Sara joins Duterte in Hong Kong amid ICC warrant rumors

Vice President Sara Duterte joined her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, in Hong Kong for a PDP-Laban event.

Sara is scheduled to attend an event with overseas Filipino workers in Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

Reports suggest that the ICC may have issued a warrant of arrest against Rodrigo Duterte, though this has not been confirmed.

The former president was accompanied by 10 bodyguards and was seen in Causeway Bay on March 8.

Rodrigo left the Philippines on March 7 amid speculation about an ICC warrant, although no official confirmation exists.

In August last year, Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonio Carpio indicated that a warrant of arrest could be issued against Duterte for alleged crimes against humanity during his tenure.
