Duterte approves 2020 IPP for pandemic recovery

President Duterte has approved the 2020 Investment Priorities Plan to boost economic recovery amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The plan includes priority activities such as producing medical supplies like medicines, PPE, and medical equipment, as well as providing services related to health waste treatment, laboratories, test facilities, hospitals, and quarantine centers.

Other key areas covered by the IPP include agriculture, manufacturing, infrastructure, telecommunications, environment-related projects, energy, and investments in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
