PMA condemns adviser's statement against rapid tests

The Philippine Medical Association (PMA) condemned presidential adviser Joey Concepcion's statement against using COVID-19 rapid test kits.

Concepcion had criticized doctors for complaining without taking action, but later apologized and clarified that his comments were not directed at all doctors.

The PMA president invited Concepcion to see the work of medical frontliners and emphasized that recommendations are carefully vetted by experts.

Concepcion is part of Project ARK, which aims to test employees returning to work using a combination of antibody rapid tests and RT-PCR.
