DUP presents 'Mga Anak ng Unos', a play on enviro issues

Dulaang Unibersidad ng Pilipinas (DUP) presents 'Mga Anak ng Unos', a play that combines two stories to highlight the urgency of addressing environmental issues.

The first story, 'Sa Gitna ng Digmaan ng mga Mahiwagang Nilalang Laban sa Sangkatauhan' by Joshua Lim So, tells of mythological creatures uniting against humans for disrupting nature's balance.

Greenpeace Philippines campaigner Jefferson Chua emphasizes the importance of artistic representations in facilitating understanding of the climate crisis, which is often overwhelming to discuss.

The second play, 'Climate in Crazies', inspired from Australian playwright David Finnigan’s work, focuses on the local and personal impact of climate change, highlighting the need for collective action.

'Mga Anak ng Unos' runs until April 13 at IBG-KAL Theater in UP Diliman, with tickets priced at P1,000, discounted rates available for senior citizens, PWDs, non-UP students, and UP community members.
