Drug suspect dies of heart attack during Parañaque casino raid, P6.8M drugs seized

On Tuesday evening, August 19, a drug suspect died of a heart attack following a buy-bust operation in a casino hotel in Parañaque City.

During the operation conducted by PDEA Cavite Provincial Office and other law enforcement units, three suspects were initially arrested.

One of the suspects resisted arrest, leading to a struggle where he reportedly suffered a heart attack.

The deceased suspect was identified as a 49-year-old resident of Makati City; two others, a German-Syrian national and a Filipina from Quezon City, are also in custody.

Approximately P6.8 million worth of suspected shabu and other drug paraphernalia were seized during the operation.

PDEA had been monitoring the suspects for some time before conducting the buy-bust operation.
