DPWH starts weeklong España Blvd. maintenance, nightly asphalt work from Wed to Mar 5

Starting Wednesday evening, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will begin one-week maintenance works along España Boulevard in Manila.

The DPWH-North Manila District Engineering Office will perform asphalt overlaying from Welcome Rotonda to Maceda Street westbound, covering a 508-meter stretch nightly from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m., with the work set for completion by March 5.

To minimize congestion, only one lane will be closed at a time and reopened immediately upon completion of each day's work.

España Boulevard serves as a vital route to the University Belt, making regular maintenance essential to ensuring smoother traffic flow.

Motorists are advised to take alternate routes, exercise caution while passing through the affected area, and inspect their vehicles before traveling.
