DPWH closes C-5 Ortigas flyover southbound lanes for bridge repairs, April 1–4

Starting Maundy Thursday, March 28, the southbound lanes of C-5 Ortigas and Pasig Boulevard flyovers will be closed until Easter Sunday, April 1, for the installation of new expansion joints.

The Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) announced that workers will operate around the clock to complete the project, which aims to replace old bridge expansion joints and enhance structural stability.

Motorists are advised to use the southbound service roads during this period as traffic lanes are closed.

The DPWH emphasized these measures are necessary to ensure the safety and integrity of the bridges during Holy Week.

Passengers and drivers are urged to plan their routes accordingly to avoid delays.
