DPWH: 6 road sections closed, 16 with limited access in CAR, Central Luzon, Calabarzon

On Monday, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) reported that six national road sections in three regions remain closed due to debris on bridges, soil collapse, flooding, and collapsed roadways.

The affected roads are located in Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Central Luzon, and Calabarzon.

Additionally, 16 other road sections have limited access due to issues such as road cut, washed-out detour roads, road slips, and flooding.

The DPWH stated that all other national roads and bridges in the affected regions are currently passable for all types of vehicles.

Earlier this month, the agency reported initial damage to infrastructure at over PHP3.75 billion due to recent weather events.
