DoubleDragon expands Hotel101 into Cambodia with two new condotels

Hotel101, part of DoubleDragon, is expanding into Cambodia with plans to build two new condotel properties in Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville, marking its sixth international market after Japan, the United States, Spain, Saudi Arabia, and Hokkaido.

The company signed definitive binding agreements with Cambodian real estate developer Canopy Sands Development Corporation Ltd. for the construction of Hotel101-Phnom Penh in Tonle Bassac district on a 2,033 square meter property, set to become Cambodia's largest hotel with around 700 rooms.

Hotel101-Sihanoukville will be located along the Bay of Lights with approximately 680 rooms beside a proposed international convention center and is expected to generate P6.3 billion in sales revenue upon completion by 2028.

Cambodia's tourism industry, which welcomed 6.7 million international visitors in 2024, is poised for further growth with the upcoming Techo International Airport (KTI) slated to open on September 9, 2025.

DoubleDragon sees Cambodia as a lucrative market and aims for its global expansion to become a significant source of dollar inflows to the Philippine economy.
