Doncic leads Slovenia to 7th place win

Luka Doncic led Slovenia to a 89-85 victory over Italy for seventh place in the FIBA World Cup on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Doncic scored 29 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished out 8 assists with 3 steals.

Slovenia's head coach Aleksander Sekulic praised Doncic for his commitment to playing despite Slovenia's exit from the title race.

Sekulic also expressed gratitude for the Filipino fans who supported Slovenia during back-to-back games in Manila.
