DOJ to process complaint vs. Pimentel 'as soon as possible'

DOJ Secretary Menardo Guevarra says the department will process the complaint against Senator Koko Pimentel 'as soon as possible' for alleged violation of quarantine rules.

The Prosecutor General will designate a state prosecutor to handle Pimentel's case and is expected to issue a subpoena next week.

Guevarra assured that the DOJ will apply the law fairly, regardless of Pimentel's status, and that this investigation is separate from the National Bureau of Investigation probe.
