DOH sets up school COVID vax sites

The Department of Health (DOH) will establish COVID-19 vaccination sites in schools to promote inoculation.

DOH officer-in-charge Maria Rosario Vergeire said these sites aim to encourage both children and their parents, as well as teachers and non-teaching personnel who have not yet been vaccinated.

Vergeire added that the government plans to place vaccine sites in workplaces, places of worship, and public markets to further boost vaccination rates.
