DOH logs 918 new COVID-19 cases; November total down 43%

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 918 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing the total for November to 33,154—down by 43% from October.

The daily average for November is 1,105 cases, significantly lower than October's 1,864. This marks the second straight month with an average below 2,000 cases.

Wednesday’s new infections brought the country’s total to 4,036,277, with active cases dropping slightly to 18,043 from 18,250 on Tuesday.

In recent weeks, NCR reported the most cases (4,333), followed by Calabarzon (1,929), Western Visayas (1,106), Central Luzon (1,035), and Central Visayas (997).
