DigiPlus earnings triple to P12.6B, revenues surge 176% to P75.2B

DigiPlus Interactive Corp., led by tycoon Eusebio Tanco, reported a threefold increase in earnings to P12.6 billion last year.

The company's revenues surged 176 percent to P75.2 billion, driven by gains in its retail gaming segment and the successful launch of new livestreamed games.

Tanco described 2024 as 'a defining year' for DigiPlus, highlighting the development of uniquely Filipino games and expansion into international markets.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization nearly doubled to P13.9 billion, primarily due to an expanding user base that reached over 40 million registered users by year-end.

DigiPlus paid P33.7 billion in taxes and regulatory fees last year, supporting essential public services and national development initiatives, while also investing P100 million through the BingoPlus Foundation for social impact.
