DBM allocates PHP55.65M for MSU Marawi Student Center

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has allocated PHP55.65 million for the construction of a three-story Student Center Building at Mindanao State University (MSU) in Marawi City, covering an area of 1,850 square meters.

Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman approved the release of Special Allotment Release Order (SARO) funds to support various student-related programs and activities.

The allocated PHP154.192 million from the 2024 Fiscal Year National Budget will also fund MSU-Marawi's Free Higher Education Program.

In December, an explosion occurred at MSU Marawi during a Catholic mass, resulting in four fatalities.
