Davao Region ECQ extended until April 26

The enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the Davao region has been extended until April 26 based on health professionals' advice.

As of Wednesday night, there were three new positive cases in Davao City, prompting the extension despite a fluctuation in incidents observed during ECQ implementation.

Under the extended ECQ, borders will remain closed to traffic except for vital cargoes and emergencies; entry of land, sea, and air travel is prohibited.

The city government will continue supporting stranded residents outside the region through official social media platforms and hotlines.
