CBCP recommends 6 AM Simbang Gabi masses

The Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) issued guidelines for Simbang Gabi amid the COVID-19 pandemic, recommending 6 a.m. masses instead of dawn masses.

CBCP noted these adjustments are temporary and due to social distancing requirements.

In Davao, Archbishop Romulo Valles allowed parishes to schedule more pre-dawn Masses in different venues to accommodate more people while observing social distancing.
