Davao City Covid-19 TF urges booster vax amid rising cases

The Davao City Covid-19 Task Force has called for residents to get their booster shots amid 30 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) on Wednesday, bringing the positivity rate to 6.3 percent.

Only 278,866 or 21.09% of fully vaccinated individuals have received their first booster shot.

Three out of four recent deaths were unvaccinated while one was vaccinated but had not received a booster dose.

Vaccination teams are now administering shots in the city's 18 district health centers from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mondays to Fridays.
