Dar, De Vera test positive for COVID-19

Agriculture Secretary William Dar and Commission on Higher Education Chairman Prospero De Vera have tested positive for COVID-19.

Dar announced his diagnosis on social media, stating he has mild symptoms but will continue to perform his duties while in quarantine.

De Vera also confirmed his positive test result, noting that he is experiencing mild symptoms.

On the day of Dar's announcement, the Philippines reported 21,819 new COVID-19 cases, the highest since September 12.
