Marcos Jr.'s Rice-for-All program approved by 82% in survey

According to Publicus Asia's PAHAYAG survey conducted from September 15 to 19, 2024, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s Rice-for-All program received an approval rating of 82 percent.

The Department of Agriculture (DA) has pledged to continue the Rice for All and P29 programs as they have reached 135,846 beneficiary households with plans to expand further.

Under the Rice for All initiative, mixed local and imported well-milled rice is sold at PHP45 per kilogram, while the P29 program offers aging but good NFA rice stocks at PHP29/kg to vulnerable sectors.

The DA's Assistant Secretary Arnel De Mesa assured that both programs will continue expanding nationwide with a target of adding 169 sites in the coming days.

Financial security and maintaining good health remain the most cited personal goals among respondents, while corruption remains the top issue requiring immediate government action.
