CSC: Gov't workers get excused absences for COVID

Government employees can now take time off work without using leave credits if they contract or are a probable case of COVID-19 while on duty.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced this new policy which previously only applied to health workers.

This leave period will be considered an excused absence and applies to government workers who face repeated exposure to the virus due to their duties involving client interaction or community transmission.
