CSC implements hybrid work: on-site 4 days, remote Fridays

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has implemented a new hybrid work arrangement for its Central and Regional offices, effective August 1, 2024.

Under CSC Resolution No. 2400579 issued on July 10, 2024, employees will work onsite for four days each week and remotely on Fridays while ensuring continuous delivery of external frontline services from Monday to Friday.

CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles emphasized the commitment to sustainable HR management practices that contribute to climate change mitigation measures and ensure uninterrupted public service during official hours.

Offices providing public service will maintain onsite staff from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with specific frontline service providers listed for the CSC Central Office, including the Integrated Records Management Office and others.

The new policy aims to reduce energy consumption and traffic congestion in line with government's Energy Efficiency and Conservation Measures.
