CSC accepts HAP nominations for civil servants until March 31

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is accepting nominations until March 31 for the 2025 Search for Outstanding Government Workers, part of the government's Honor Awards Program (HAP).

This annual search aims to recognize civil servants who have shown exceptional dedication and commitment to public service, inspiring others to uphold excellence and integrity.

Eligible nominees include career and non-career government employees as well as appointive barangay officials, but not those employed under Job Order or Contract of Service arrangements.

Three national honor awards are available: the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award for civil servants whose exceptional achievements have made a national impact; the CSC Pagasa Award for contributions to innovation and digital transformation; and the Outstanding Public Officials and Employees (Dangal ng Bayan) Award for ethical behavior.

Posthumous nominations may be submitted within 12 months of a public servant's death in the line of duty.

Awardees receive various rewards such as cash prizes, automatic promotion or salary increase, health benefits, and scholarship opportunities.
