Creamline named Team of Year, Meneses Coach of Year at PVL Awards

Creamline and coach Sherwin Meneses will receive honors at the inaugural Pilipinas Live Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Press Corps Awards Night on May 28 in Quezon City.

Creamline was named Team of the Year, accumulating 13.6 points from a poll that included media and team votes, showcasing their dominance with an all-time league record of 176 wins in 216 matches over eight years.

The Cool Smashers became the PVL's first grand slam champions after sweeping all three conferences of the 2024 season, earning them the title with a historic 19-game win streak.

Meneses was awarded Coach of the Year for his leadership in guiding Creamline to seven titles and becoming the league's first centurion with a record of 104-18 and an 85.25 percent win rate, despite challenges from injuries and national team duties.

The event will celebrate the achievements of teams and individuals who have contributed significantly to the success of the PVL during the 2024 season.
