PNP chief calls for mutual respect during ECQ

The Joint Task Force Corona Virus Shield (JTF CV Shield) has called for mutual respect between police officers and citizens to prevent conflicts during the enhanced community quarantine.

Commander Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar emphasized that respecting each other can either prevent provocative actions or help de-escalate tensions, leading to a win-win situation.

Eleazar urged civilians to follow ECQ guidelines and respect law enforcers, while advising police officers to maintain maximum tolerance and uphold the human rights of citizens.
