DOH: PH COVID-19 cases top 385,000, death toll reaches 7,269

As of Monday, November 2, the DOH reported a total of 385,400 confirmed COVID-19 cases with the death toll reaching 7,269.

Active cases stood at 29,301, with 82.5% being mild, 9.6% asymptomatic, 2.8% severe, and 5% critical.

Benguet had the highest number of new cases (188), followed by Davao City (166), Rizal (119), Quezon City (116), and Bulacan (91).

The DOH also reported that they have received initial results from a pilot study for SD Biosensor antigen testing in Baguio City.

On Sunday, the DOH recorded 2,396 new cases, bringing the total to 383,113 with 7,238 deaths and 348,760 recoveries.
