Judge orders Yap to remove Sotto from teaser, allows film

Veteran television host Vic Sotto has secured a partial victory against filmmaker Darryl Yap after weeks of legal battle regarding the teaser video of Yap's movie 'The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma'.

Judge Liezel Aquiatan ordered Yap to remove a 26-second teaser from all online platforms, citing misuse of personal information and unverifiable dialogue between two deceased individuals.

While the court allowed Yap to proceed with the film's production and release on February 5, it emphasized that the decision is limited to the teaser video only.
