CostPlus to bring hydrogen fuel cell tech to PH

Technology firm CostPlus Inc. will provide hydrogen fuel cell technology to the Philippines, marking a significant step towards energy independence and reducing carbon emissions.

During President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr.'s visit to India, CostPlus CEO Anand Mahtani signed a Letter of Intent to introduce advanced hydrogen fuel cell technology in the Philippine market.

The partnership aims to provide state-of-the-art renewable energy solutions, especially for off-grid communities, while also creating local jobs and contributing to sustainability.

Mahtani emphasized that this collaboration will accelerate the Philippines' transition to green energy and align with the country's vision for technological advancement and environmental sustainability.

CostPlus is also building LED carbon battery manufacturing facilities in the Philippines and seeks to foster meaningful opportunities between the Philippines and India through dialogue with Invest India.
