Converge partners with Starlink, Ribbon to boost internet in remote areas

Fiber broadband provider Converge has partnered with Starlink and Ribbon Communications to enhance connectivity and reach more areas.

Converge aims to empower various industries, including construction, mining, hospitality, agriculture, retail, fisheries, and cruise vessels, by providing better internet services in remote regions.

Through its partnership with Starlink, Converge will offer low-latency satellite solutions and resell Starlink's services to businesses and government agencies nationwide, targeting areas affected during disasters.

Converge projects a 5%-10% increase in enterprise revenue through this collaboration and aims to serve more enterprises within the satellite solution.

The company integrates Ribbon’s muse multilayer automation platform (MAP) and AI capabilities to manage large amounts of data from cloud services and IoT solutions, ensuring reliable connectivity for underserved areas.

This partnership ensures that Converge's fiber network can support next-generation enterprise solutions and cloud applications, maximizing the value of optical network investments.
